Improve your focus and clear your distractions with the new PomoDone integration with Teamwork Projects! It lets you track time with the Pomodoro Technique and log it directly to your tasks in Teamwork Projects. Let’s face it, distractions around the office are endless. There are a lot of things that can kill your productivity on a day-to-day basis, like notifications on your phone and social media breaks. One way to help stay focused and on task is to adopt the Pomodoro Technique into your workday to help you eliminate those common distractions. The theory is simple, yet incredibly effective — all you have to do is follow these five steps:
Choose a task to be accomplished.
Set your Pomodoro timer to 25 minutes.
Work on the task until the Pomodoro rings, then put a check on your sheet of paper.
Take a short break, like 5 minutes. (Now you can check your mobile phone, social media or a quick browse on your favorite site!)
For every 4 Pomodoros, take a longer break.
With this new integration between PomoDone and Teamwork Projects, you can follow this technique seamlessly, making focused, interruption-free work a habit.
What is PomoDone?
PomoDone brings the Pomodoro time management technique into your projects so you can keep track of the time you spend on your tasks. It is a simple way of tracking your workflow without the manual task of logging time. Not only that, you can add and complete tasks straight from the PomoDone App.
How it works
This integration allows Teamwork Projects users to manage their tasks using the Pomodoro Technique. All of your Teamwork Projects tasks, task lists, and projects will be automatically added and synced with the PomoDone app. Once you are set up and all your projects are imported, you can start working through your tasks or create new ones as you work in intervals of 5, 15, or 25 minutes each separated with that all-important 5-minute break! This integration allows you to seamlessly track your time across systems, so you can be efficient in both productivity and time management.
Getting set up with the PomoDone and Teamwork Projects Integration
First, you will need to have a PomoDone account. If you don’t already have one, you can sign up here. All of your projects, task lists, and tasks are now imported into the PomoDone App and will automatically sync once new projects are added to your Teamwork Projects account.
From here you can select the task you want to start working on and choose the amount of time you want to dedicate to the task: 5, 15, or 25 minutes. Not only that, by clicking the pencil icon, you can edit the task and the link icon you can open that specific task in Teamwork Projects. By clicking on the check icon, you can complete the task! All updates you make in the PomoDone App are automatically updated within Teamwork Projects!
Once you select the amount of time you want to dedicate to your chosen task, a timer will pop up and you’re ready to work!
Once complete, you will hear a bell chime and it’s time for a break. You can work for as long as required on a task, and once complete, this time will be logged within your Teamwork Projects account.
